LOGJAM work goes to Galax! (and other news...)

This week LOGJAM finally broke into the local art market with the placement of one of our slab desks. Chestnut Creek School of the Arts, based on Main Street in Galax, VA. welcomed two large pieces and several smaller items. We look forward to a long and productive association with the school. At some point down the road, we hope to provide assistance in their woodworking shop and classes. Check them out:

Rick Cavey generously provided LOGJAM with some space in his apartment garage for a small kiln. This will be a finishing kiln, meaning that we are not trying to dry green wood, but taking already air dried slabs down to a safe and workable moisture percentage ready for furniture building and other projects. We have some very patient clients for whom this extra resource will shorten their waiting time.
